About Becca Graham

Administrative and Discipleship pastor

I love anything to do with my husband, family time, camping, spending time outdoors,

hanging with our life group and journeying with others as we grow together to BE and DO

Jesus in every way and every day. I'm passionate about discipleship and finding ways to be more

like Jesus as He transforms our minds and hearts.

MY ROLE AT MIDLAND NAZ

As Administrative Pastor, my role is to help Midland Naz live out its mission by ensuring that we as a church body function effectively and efficiently from an infrastructure and administrative perspective. Moreover, as we continue to discover our role in God's story, I help provide the tangible means needed by equipping, training, and resourcing the church body so we can play out our role in the best way possible. As Discipleship Pastor, my role is to help develop life groups and life group leaders; create new believer discipleship; ministry team development; and Growth Track implementation/follow-up. I'm thrilled to journey with Midland Naz and take part in what God is doing in and through His people! Oh...and I do my best to keep Pastor Dave in line! :)

IF I HAD MY DREAM VACATION

I'd travel the world with my husband. We have a running list of the top 10 places we want to visit and as we visit each one, we cross it off and add another.

IF I COULD DO A HOBBY FOR A LIVING

This isn't really a hobby but I enjoy giving and receiving flowers and always thought it'd be fun to be the flower shop delivery person who brings flowers to people and makes their day...how great would it be to brighten someone's day with flowers and see their smiles?

MY FAVORITE TEAM

Michigan Wolverines! GO BLUE!

MY FAVORITE MOVIE

Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea (Yes, all you men are probably rolling your eyes just like my husband does, but I LOVE a good Anne marathon!).

MY FAVORITE BOOK

It's hard to nail down just one...some of my faves are The Preaching Life, Velvet Elvis, Redeeming Love, books on spiritual formation, anything written by Terri Blackstock and Robin Jones Gunn, or a good mystery/suspense novel.

MY MOST REWARDING VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY

Den and I have been fostering since May 2014.  We've thoroughly enjoyed getting to play a role in young men's lives as we provide a safe and loving home for them.

MY FAMILY

I'm blessed everyday to be married to my husband...we were married in October 2010 and we are so grateful for God's faithfulness in our lives...looking back over the years (since we've known each other since childhood), we can see His thread of faithfulness that has woven our lives together. His provision and grace are abundant even during times of living in the unknown and we continue to learn what it means to trust a loving God.

MY BACKGROUND

I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a BA in Elementary Education in 1999 and then went on to earn my Masters in Intercultural Studies at Nazarene Theological Seminary in 2002 and the Master of Divinity from NTS in 2005. I have served as Pastor of Children's Ministries and Assistant Pastor at churches in Lafayette, IN and Lake Odessa, MI. Moreover, I served as the Assistant Coordinator for the Church of the Nazarene's 2009 General Assembly & Conventions, Volunteer Coordinator for NYC 2011, and most recently the Officer Manager for Mount Vernon Nazarene University's Admissions.  I joined the Mid Naz staff in August of 2012.
